Application Form: Fill up an application for a visa. You may download this application from any of the Azerbaijani embassies and consulates outside the country or on the web.

Gathering of Documents:

Passport (thankfully valid at least 3 months after visa expiry).

One photo (dimensions: 3×4 cm).

Visa application form has been completed.

Invitation letter (from a relative, a friend or a host institution).

A proof of accommodation such as a hotel reservation.

Insurance for travellers.

A plane ticket or a travel itinerary is required in the visa application.

Submitting the Application: On standby, should all the documents have been filled in correctly; the applicant should present them to the Embassies or Consular offices of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In case of the online applications, the application should be submitted through the e-visa portal.

Visa Fee: Obtain payment for the visa. The amount of the fee will be determined by the country and the class of the visa.

Processing Time: The authority managing the application reviews the application and decides on it most times between 3 and 15 working days. E-visa takes the least time in acquiring since this can take up to only 7 working days.

Obtaining the Visa: If successful, the visa will be affixed into the passport, placed therein or it will be emailed as an electronic visa.
